The Westcountry Tonight, is the most-watched politics programme on ITV,
according to data compiled by the British Audience Research Bureau.
In 2007, The Westcountry
Tonight attracted an average audience share of more than 12% - double
the average of other ITV regional politics programmes transmitted in
the same late-night slot.
Ragged Trouser Productions
made 20 episodes of The Westcountry Tonight between January and November
2007. More programmes are planned for 2008.
The Westcountry Tonight
is presented by Graham Smith and features regular reporters Philippa
Mina and Mary Hardiman-Jones.
